I have some 70 something friends on Myspace. I know most of them (either friends or family), and a select few I don't know. I prefer not to have too many friends because I like to keep in touch, and there's just no way I'm writing a million people back and forth. I use it like an online photo album, planner (birthday reminders), and messaging. It helps-it really does....
But that's my personal preference. I'm not going to knock anyone who has a few friends or those who have many. Though it really does seem to get out of hand sometimes.
My older Facebook account was different. I strictly only accepted actual friends or aqcuaintances from schools I have attended. I dont know why I did that account like that...go figure..lol..

Why did you think that you treated your MySpace site differently than your Facebook one?
I was wondering the same thing as I read your post. Did you think that would could be more free with your MySpace, or have more restrictions on Facebook? Or did it have anything to do with the number of friends you had at MySpace vs. Facebook? I don't have a MySpace account, so I am on the outside when it comes to comparing them.
I treat my Myspace differently because I'm more used to using it than Facebook. I find things easier, and more so most of my friends and family are members than that of Facebook. I can change the look of my Myspace profile and add my own graphics easier than I could on Facebook. Facebook is just too plain.
